Default I jus Realize something about Guild Wars

I jus Realize something about Guild Wars

i wasnt into guild wars. the only thing that make me interest in guild wars is..

- amazing visuals!
- and amazing visuals!

and what i realized the thing that really didnt make me interest is.... empty music during pvp! the music while pvp is so plain and quiet! make me go to sleep! why not having intense music? music is the main key for a fun pvp atmosphere and sense and feeling of pvp. hearing long whislting sound with no intense music is sleepy.

Very few people listen to the actual GW music. Myself, I usually put on iTunes or Pandora and listen to other music. I have that turned all the way down so I don't hear it.

Most hardcore PvP people recognize skills cast by opponents based on the sound of the skills. The quiet music is a plus in PvP IMO.

Hmmmmmm, I have never heard skills cast by the other team ever make sounds... Maybe I haven't listened hard enough but that just sounds weird to me...

Not only that but in the higher end PvP arenas you wanna be able to hear your guild on vent/ts. That takes precedence over in-game music. Why make intense music if most people are gonna end up turning it down anyway?

Definitely. If you're a monk and you don't know the sound of diversion being cast on you, you will often be one very sad monk...

Sure, Music is turned off (100%) in PvP ..
Most skills have a very unique sound ... Diversion or Mark of Pain for example are very distinct ... I realize how much I need to sound to orientate within the game when I don't have my headset on ... I was astonished myself.

Most of the music is pretty good the first time around, but it gets tiring after a while.

Smashing Pumpkins, David Bowie, The Decemberists, Blind Guardian, The Weakerthans and Klaus Nomi for PvE.

Muse and Weird Al for PvP.

If you have a good set of speakers or head phones the same is true for PvE. Well, at least for me it is. They really need to get the sound and animations synced back up again. Some sounds now come when it is almos too late to do anything about it.

One of the reasons for why I never bothered to break into serious PvP - having a hearing impairment is a huge handicap when the going gets tough

My sounds are off so I can hear everyone in vent. When I'm not on vent, it's my music player playing metal music up the wall!

You don't need ingame music during PvP. If you want AWESOME INTENSE MUSIC during EPIC BATTLES you sound more like a PvE person tbh.

PvP players listen to vent / skill sounds, and usually have the music/background crap turned down or off.

if you were really hardcore... you could own people while listening to music, listening to your teammates, reading a book, and watching tv all at the same time

I put my music through my speakers, and game sounds/vent through my headphones. It's been awesome since I figured how to set it up that way.

I can't do that with my computer. I don't use a headset.

Stand-alone Microphone. But, I refuse to buy a headset...my last eight broke.

Water, vacuum cleaner, chair arm, standing up...yes, many disasters ruin my stupid headsets. So far, stand-alone works.

For better music during PvP just stick Iron Footfalls on loop.
